Trame & Merletti is a branding project created for Stefania, who is passionate about handmade artisanal creations, with a preference for crochet, sewing, and knitting.
Many of her creations, ranging from amigurumi to dolls and Montessori educational games, are soft, rounded, and pleasingly tactile.
For the logo in its various versions, I have therefore crafted a shape that evokes, with its curves, a soft cloud, but also a romantic embroidered doily or a unraveling ball of yarn.
The color choices, fonts, patterns, and icons pay homage to the aesthetics of 1950s advertising imagery, which is also reflected in the graphics created for social media. However, everything has been adapted to ensure perfect readability and a modern layout, in line with the needs of the contemporary world.
